Another hat tip to HeinOnline: Legislative histories for pre-’86 tax laws

While preparing a presentation on legislative history for tax attorneys I discovered that most of the legislative histories I’ve ever needed for pre-1986 tax laws are available in the U.S. Federal Legislative History collection on HeinOnline.   Highlights of the collection include Seidman’s Legislative History of Federal Income Tax Laws, 1938-1861, Seidman’s Legislative History of Federal Income and Excess Profits Tax Laws, 1953-1939, and the four-volume Legislative History of the United States Tax Conventions.   I added the U.S. Federal Legislative History collection to the “Legislative History” section of the Tax entry.
